April 2022

While the pandemic brought several industries to a standstill, by necessity the healthcare and pharma industry had to be agile and evolve to meet the demands of not only its own sectors but of the world at large.

In next month’s issue we take a pause and assess how the Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted research and development, manufacturing and market dynamics for healthcare products. By relying on data, our features will try to analyse the intuitive trends that continue even now and assess the impact of short-term emergent changes on the overall outlook for this space. By doing this retrospective analysis, we hope to give an idea about what pharma world may look like as Covid-19 becomes endemic in the near future

In addition to looking for clues on broader trends, the next issue will also delve into another buzzy topic that is currently making a big splash—NFTs or nonfungible tokens. We will take a look at what role NFTs could play in the healthcare space and whether widescale acceptance is realistic in the next few years.

All this plus the latest trends and innovations in the pharma industry, as well as up-to-date analysis and insight from GlobalData experts.
